I was involved in financial services for 14 years with a major British company. Unfortunately, due to stress, I had to walk away from a very good income.

When you reach your 40s, there aren’t too many opportunities (job wise) and I ended up getting a job as a taxi driver. Due to the BIG drop in income, I found myself a few hundred pounds short of my monthly commitments (£600 before we had bought food for ourselves and our two children).

"We handed back two cars to the finance company and my prize possession, a half gold Rolex watch, had to be sold. We had to cut our cloth accordingly."

The worst thing was that I had promised my family all the better things in life and now I had no way of fulfilling these promises. Whilst taxi driving, I was asked if I ever looked at ways of increasing my income; the answer was "yes". However, I was working 6 nights a week and had no money to invest in any business ventures so I was not very hopeful of being able to do whatever he was suggesting. Thankfully, I looked into what he was talking about and discovered it was part time, needed no capital investment and it was something that I could do .

We have been involved for a little while now and have totally changed our financial situation. The future is looking excellent with us being able to achieve all the things that we want from life.
